Key locations

Three useful locations during your stay

Click a location to open it in Google Maps.

  • 1 · Arrival

We recommend flying into Tunis-Carthage Airport.

  • 2 · Getting around

We recommend getting around by taxi. You can use the inDrive ↗ app. You can also hail a taxi almost anywhere in Tunis: a red light means the taxi is available.

Renting a car is possible, but driving in Tunis can be challenging for some drivers.

  • 3 · Getting to Dar Belhadj

Dar Belhadj is about a five-minute walk from the Government Presidency or the Ministry of Finance. The streets are paved and may feel long in heels.

Rue des Tamis and Rue de la Kasbah are pedestrian streets, as are the main lanes of the medina. On April 30, access will be from the Kasbah.

  • 4 · Accommodation

Please do not book yet. We are waiting to know how many people will be coming so that we can choose the most suitable solution around mid-October.

  • 5 · What to wear

On April 30, we will celebrate the bride’s Outeya, ahead of the wedding celebration taking place in France in July. For this celebration, the bride will not wear white.

The evening takes place in the courtyard of a traditional medina house. There is no particular dress restriction.
