What to wear
On July 7, we will celebrate the final evening in a series of wedding celebrations that began on May 17, 2026 at Haberacker town hall. The day will take place both outdoors and indoors at a vineyard estate in Scherwiller. There is no particular dress restriction; just keep the July heat in mind.
Getting there
The estate is in Scherwiller, between Sélestat and the Wine Route villages. There is ample parking on site. You can also take the train to Sélestat and then a bus to Scherwiller, getting off at Alumnat. We may also organise car-sharing locally.
Google Maps directions ↗Public transport
Sélestat is the most convenient hub: regional TER trains connect directly with Strasbourg, Colmar, Mulhouse and Basel on the north-south line. Another regional line connects Sélestat with Obernai, Molsheim and Strasbourg.
From Strasbourg Airport, a rail shuttle connects to Strasbourg station. From Basel-Mulhouse EuroAirport, bus 11 connects to Saint-Louis station, where regional trains continue towards Sélestat.
Apps, tickets & passes
For planning journeys, we recommend Fluo Grand Est ↗ for door-to-door journey planning, SNCF Connect ↗ or TER Grand Est ↗ for trains, and CTS ↗ for Strasbourg trams and buses.
If you plan to make several journeys, also check the Carte Fluo and weekly TER passes. For a weekend stay, the Pass Groupe Week-End may also be useful. Offers and prices may change by 2027, so please check the conditions closer to your stay.
Citiz car sharing
If you only need a car occasionally, Citiz Grand Est ↗ can be an alternative to conventional car rental. You need to register in advance with a driving licence, ID, a recent proof of address and a photo with your ID. Depending on the plan, a deposit may be required, and account approval is not immediate. Please check 2027 prices and conditions before your stay.
Accommodation
Please do not book yet. We are waiting to know how many people will need accommodation so that we can choose the most suitable solution around January.
